A little bit of everything - Zara Blanket Scarf, Pumpkin Patch & TJ Maxx

My weekend was a whirlwind; a good one for the most part. Here's what I was up to:

Went to a pumpkin patch with this handsome boy and sipped on apple cider.

Wore this. I love this blanket scarf from Zara. It's so soft and cozy and it's HUGE! Doubles as a blanket. It looks like it's sold out online but you may be able to scoop one up in store.

I didn't feel well for almost a whole day, so I spent my time catching up on reading,

and watching this. Classic.

Attended an engagement dinner with my fiance. It was lovely and the food was super delicious and the company really wonderful. Isn't that cake beautiful?! 

Popped into TJ Maxx and found the prettiest stationary, note cards and wrapping paper! LOVE TJ Maxx.

I Rock a Lot of Polka Dots

Polka dots to me are like stripes and leopard print, they're all neutrals, and I love them all. This is what I wore the other day. A triple threat of polka dots. And just look at how gorgeous those leaves are! Seriously, how can you not LOVE Autumn, it's the BEST.

I have lots of different gold paints and gold leafing in my studio, so the other morning I did a little DIY and painted this cup. I love it! Makes me smile every time I look at it. It's sitting on my Kate Spade agenda and next to one of my sequin scarves.

Target Clothes Haul - Currently Wearing

We all love Target it's no secret. Although this visit my love was renewed when I found these MUST HAVE little beauties.... 

This dark grey studded jacket is perfect for Autumn; just heavy enough to take the chill off and super cute with studded accents. I couldn't find it on Target online to show you, so go to Target and try it on yourself, you won't be disappointed.

These polka dot jeans by Mossimo juniors. They fit perfectly and are INCREDIBLY cute! Run don't walk to go get yourself a pair in store because they're not available online (lame). See them here.

This vest is my absolute favorite find of the day. LOOK at how fabulous it is! It comes with a detachable faux fur-trimmed hood. I love it more than J.Crew's vest that EVERYONE and their mother has. This one is so much better looking and looks gorgeous over everything. I would highly advise you hurry and scoop one up before they're gone. There's a black and white. I bought the black. I saw so many things I loved yesterday but I didn't buy them and I am really proud of my continued effort in self control and self restraint. Maybe I'm just growing up and realizing I really do have a budget to stick to(mortgage, insurance, bills, etc.) and I can't just go WILD and buy every single little thing I love and that catches my eye. I'm guessing we all have our own unique method to help us contain our shopping tendencies to keep them under control; don't we? I've seen other bloggers share their experiences with pledging to not purchase items for their closet for a length of time and instead shop their own closet, which I think is brilliant! I'll have to jump on that bandwagon someday soon and see how it goes. What about you, how do you balance your shopping budget? I'd love to know.

Outfit Post & Win A Moto Jacket Giveaway

I'm so thrilled it's Friday, this week has been loooooong. I have a busy weekend ahead which includes heading into the city for a soccer game and picking up my newly sized engagement ring! Can't wait! It's stunning.

I mentioned earlier this week here that I'd be starting a giveaway for a moto jacket and here it is!

Below are a couple shots of me wearing two that I love. This blush colored jacket that I scored last year is a favorite. It's buttery soft and the unexpected color goes with everything.

Black is classic, we all know that, so I'll just quickly say I love and wear my black jacket a lot. Like, a lot, a lot. It's timeless, and again goes with everything. I'm sure most of you already have a similar jacket but I found the open front draped version below and thought it would be so fun to giveaway!

How pretty is it!? Seriously pretty. And I'm super excited to give it away to one lucky girl to sport this Fall! It's from Forever 21 and is a size small. I wish I could have bought one in every size!

Currently Craving: Leopard Print

Every style magazine I open right now has a feature on Leopard print which I love because, well, I love leopard print! I'm sure you've heard it from countless magazines and other bloggers, but leopard is considered a neutral these days and every girl MUST own at LEAST one leopard print item in her closet because leopard is just that fabulous! 

Sorta off topic but I was in TJMaxx a couple days ago searching for a leopard scarf and I just couldn't help but snap this photo of their wall of scarves! Isn't it so PRETTY?! I have an identical set up on a wall in my bedroom but mine isn't nearly as organized. Seeing this has inspired me to sort and organize mine. Once I'm finished I'll take a photo and post it on the blog. 

Oh, and if you were wondering I came up empty handed on my leopard scarf search. Boo. Oh well. The search continues. If you have suggestions on where you found your leopard scarf I'd LOVE to hear them!

I pushed snooze a few too many times this morning so I'm rushing. Yikes! I will say though that I'm crazy about these Skinny Kick jeans I bought at American Eagle; they're my absolute favorite and I will most likely go stock up and purchase more, you should too, you'll love them, promise. Camo to me is like leopard print. It's a great way to add a print to what you're wearing and it's always so chic! Just don't go overboard. One piece is plenty.

I still love this vintage Mulberry speedy I found years ago. I carry it a lot, it's beautiful. Lastly I'm so excited it's scarf season! Aren't you?! I'll be wearing one on a daily basis.
So. Stoked.
