What I've been up to lately

This post is image heavy for two reasons:

1). I have to be to work in exactly 30 minutes

and

2) I'm still in my PJs and have to be to work in exactly 30 minutes.

To say I've been busy lately is an understatement. Major understatement. 

Working 40 hours a week, two kiddos (9 & 12), my son plays for a very competitive soccer league which keeps us traveling long distances all over the state for games, school, a household to stay on top of, pets, meetings 3-4 times a week, a love life, volunteering here and there, and attempting to maintain a blog, social media updates, etc. 

Yikes.

I'm just going to stop there. HA.

I'm busy. 

But I love the challenge of juggling what I love.

When a blogger opens an Etsy shop

I love to create and craft. LOVE TO.
I'm not sure if I've shared this fact openly on my blog before, but I do. In fact, I have a studio behind my house where most of my supplies live and I find lots of inspiration there! Most recently I've been creating bracelets and have opened a shop to begin sharing them. FUN!

I've always been a girl who loves gold, but if it's possible, it's continuing to grow on me to the point where I'm pretty sure it would be classified as an obsession. No harm in that right? I swear my eyes have trained themselves to seek it out when I'm shopping. Gold and polka dots. Always polka dots. While internet window shopping yesterday evening I happily found all these amazing finds that would be perfect holiday gifts! Or just add them to your wishlist and have someone else gift them to you! Everyone loves a girl who knows what she wants :)

Side note. I had a wonderful weekend! Spent it with my bestie in Seattle (she recently relocated from Manhattan) and we spent our time enjoying each others company while Christmas shopping our booties off, hunting down Kafka on the Shore for a special bookclub and lounging by her fireplace in our pjs. It was heavenly.
